All family structures are warmly welcomed, whether foster, adopted, biological, single-parent, LGBT, kinship, etc. The discussion for each meeting will be sparked by sharing a trauma-related article, book excerpt, video, or even an occasional guest speaker! A time for open discussion will follow, where families can offer reactions to the presentation, ask questions, or share how they feel the topic relates to their own parenting experiences. Most of all, we will support one another however we can, whenever it is needed, and hopefully develop a community of friends facing similar challenges. Best of all, FREE CHILDCARE IS PROVIDED!
